Description
With our StrongBox package you can get started with hydroponic cultivation quickly, easily and cheaply.
For half the price of, for example, a Harvey, you can start growing hydroponically. With our package, you can get started quickly and easily.
The package includes:
- 2 StrongBox 15 l 39x29x20 cm
- 1 pc 50 mm hole saw
- 1 drilling template for StrongBox 15L, delivered on paper & digitally
- 20 pcs 50 mm mesh baskets
- 20 pcs 50 mm cultivation mushrooms
- 1 pair of tweezers with a curved tip, good to have for placing the sprouted seeds in the mushrooms if you sprout them on paper towels.
Drill as many holes as you want with a screwdriver, the one with the following hole saw and our drilling template, run at low speed, otherwise the plastic will melt.
Germinate your seeds on a wet paper towel or cotton pads from our nursery (sold separately), and cover the plate/jar you have them in with plastic wrap so they don't dry out.
If you choose the version with coconut fiber, you sow directly into the plug.
When the seeds have germinated and have a root of about a centimeter, move them into a sponge and place in a mesh pot. It is important that the roots hang down through the mesh pot. Now you put your plant in the growth box. The water should initially be so that the sponge is in contact with the water. When the roots hang out through the bottom of the sponge on all plants, leave an air gap of 1 cm between the basket and the water surface. Here the plant is allowed to grow. Now it needs a lot of light and extra nutrition in the water.
Don't forget to top up with nutrient water, more often as the plants get larger.
