Our package includes a really good MPPT Solar Controller that manages the charging and consumption so the battery is not destroyed. It can handle both 12V and 24V and automatically detects the voltage of your batteries.
The MPPT controllers are 35% more efficient than the cheaper PWM controllers. If you have a solar panel of 100 W, the PWM controller gives about 65 W, while the MPPT controller delivers about 100 W. This loss becomes even greater in cold weather.
