We have packed a box according to MSB's recommendations and our experiences.
A crisis situation can occur unexpectedly, regardless of whether it is natural disasters, long-term power outages or other types of emergencies. Being well prepared can make a big difference for you and your family. Having an emergency kit at the ready ensures you have access to the most essential supplies during the first days of a crisis, when relief efforts may be limited or unavailable.
This emergency box is designed to cover basic needs such as food, water, heat & information. It is important to go through the emergency box regularly and update the contents if necessary, for example by replacing expired items. Also make sure that everyone in the household knows where the emergency box is and how to use it.
We have packed everything you need in a practical and stylish plastic box (the gas cooker comes in its own bag). Easy to put away and convenient to have everything in one place. Further down you will find MSB's checklist of what you should have at home, there you will see what you can tick off when you bought this box and what you need to supplement with or may already have.
You also get a checklist so you can supplement your emergency box according to your needs.
