Growing mushrooms for Hydroponic growing, fits well in our 32 mm baskets or in Nelson Gardens Harvey system. Also works in most grow boxes with smaller mesh baskets.

The rock wool cube is 2.0x2.0x2.5 cm.

The big advantage of Rockwool is that it is a sterile media which minimizes the risk of attack by various diseases, fungi and mold. In addition, it is easy to handle, can hold enough water and is easy to plant in with ready-made holes.

If the mushroom is smaller than your basket, you can fill it up around it once the plant has emerged with Perlite or mini Leca beads to prevent light from getting into the water.
